The views from Gili Air Bungalows are spectacular. Set in a tropical garden just 200 meters from the beach on the east side of Gili Air, where the sun rises over Mount Rinjani.
There are just eight bungalows, which were not quite built at the same time, so some are more modern than others (don’t forget to mention this is if you’re booking via email).
The real highlight of Gili Air Bungalows is the Chill Out beach bar. It’s an unbeatable spot to bask in the sun by day, and dine on excellent seafood BBQ at night. They score top marks when it comes to the quality of their food and cocktails, yet perhaps a little less on service, but that’s the way it goes around these parts.

The Beach Club Gili Air

The Beach Club Gili Air is a superb tropical island oasis that caters to your every desire. Located on the south side of the island (close to Scallywags) on the sands of arguably the best and most popular beach in Gili Air.
Swimming in the ocean right in front of the beach club is utter bliss. This is a fantastic spot to enjoy the sun, sand and sea, even if you’re staying somewhere else. It seems that they’ve gotten it very right here. The food, and even service, is highly rated.
Here, you’ll dine under an intoxicatingly beautiful blanket of stars (and perhaps a few Bintangs too). But the real highlight is movie nights, that are held right on the beach. The kids love it, as did the kid inside us.
